IBIZA – THE WHITE ISLAND

Situated in the south of the Balearic islands, Ibiza is the third in extension of the archipelago and together with its smaller sister Formentera forms the “Pitiusas” (Islands with Pines) . With their special location on the Mediterranean and their proximity to the coasts of Africa they benefit from a generally warm Mediterranean climate, having dry summers with a temperature of ..25 – 30 degrees. The winters are humid with little rain, allowing you to enjoy a pleasant stay on the island year round.

To try and give a short history of Ibiza is as arduous as it is difficult, given its optimal geo-estrategic position on the Mediterranean ,its easy to imagine that any invading army would be interested in having it as a magnificent base from where to organize future invasions and take control of the area, essential in any war and important for any empire.
