The “Microfísica” received the first Prize in the Balearic Spirit section in Ibiza International Film Festival.

The story’s plot by Joan Carles Martorell takes place between Barcelona and Chicago. Because of the job a young aeronautic engineer with his girlfriend comes to Chicago where an ex-lover of her lives. Little by little they realize that things are not so good how they thought.
Joan Carles Martorell was born in 1981 in Palma de Mallorca. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication in 2003. Two years after his short digital and multimedia film “Noches Blancas” received a second Prize of “Premio Nacional de Audiovisuales” from “Instituto de Juventud del gobierno de España.”
